MacMally: My UFC Dream Fight Card

Have you ever tried putting together your UFC dream fight card? With no limits, no politics, and no holds barred, MacMally has done just that.

Is Jon Jones the UFC GOAT?

UFC BETTING

Ladies and gentlemen, fight nerds, and those who simply can’t resist the allure of MMA drama, hold onto your hats. We’re about to craft the most epic UFC fight card imaginable, featuring matchups that could break the internet and keep fans screaming “just bleed” for decades. Here’s my theoretically possible ultimate lineup:

Mike Perry vs. Darren Till: The Brawl for Spa

This is the fight that promises pure entertainment, both inside and outside the cage. Mike Perry, with his powerful unrelenting boxing and fearless attitude, against Darren Till, the Liverpool Loudmouth with sharp Muay Thai skills and knockout power. The build-up to this fight alone would be worth the ticket price, with both fighters known for their trash talk and the infamous spa video. Sometimes you can’t tell if they love or hate each other. We are overdue for this fight as fans. It simply has to happen.

In the octagon, Perry’s brawling style would clash with Till’s technical striking, creating a matchup that could end at any moment with a spectacular knockout and an even more epic post-fight speech. The King Of Violence Mike Perry’s durability and willingness to engage in a slugfest makes him an all-time fan favourite, while Till’s precision and power makes him a constant threat.

Prediction: This fight would be a slugfest, with both fighters looking for the knockout. Till’s technical prowess and height might give him the edge on paper, but Perry’s heart, tenacity and aggression could lead to an early finish like we’ve been seeing him do in BKFC. Perry by 2nd round TKO.

Amanda Nunes vs. Cris Cyborg 2: The Rematch

The first fight between Amanda Nunes and Cris Cyborg was a barnburner, with Nunes shocking the world by knocking out the seemingly invincible Cyborg in the first round. Since then, fans have been clamouring for a rematch. What other super fights are there? Both fighters are knockout artists with a killer instinct, making this a guaranteed fireworks display.

Nunes has solidified her status as the GOAT of women’s MMA, while Cyborg has continued to dominate outside the UFC. The rematch would give Cyborg a chance at redemption and Nunes a chance to prove that the first fight was no fluke.

Prediction: This fight would likely be another striking battle. Cyborg would come in with a chip on her shoulder, looking to avenge her loss, while Nunes would aim to solidify her legacy. I’d take Nunes winning again, this time in a more competitive bout, by second round submission.

Brock Lesnar vs. Fedor Emelianenko: The Heavyweight Fantasy

Bro, hear me out. Tell me you wouldn’t watch this mess. Brock Lesnar, the WWE superstar turned UFC heavyweight champion, versus Fedor Emelianenko, the greatest heavyweight to never fight in the UFC. This is a dream match that fans have fantasized about for years. Lesnar’s freakish athleticism and wrestling skills against Fedor’s sambo, striking, and legendary aura. Both far out of their primes.

Lesnar’s game plan would be simple: take Fedor down and unleash ground and pound. Fedor, on the other hand, would look to use his speed, technique, and experience to keep the fight standing and look for a knockout or submission.

Prediction: This fight would be a clash of titans with the near guarantee of a finish. If Fedor avoids the takedown, he has the striking and submission skills to end the fight quickly. My prediction would be Fedor chinning him 30 seconds into the fight or Brock taking him down and securing a TKO within a round before they both gas out entirely. Glorious.

Jon Jones vs. Francis Ngannou: The Ultimate Heavyweight Showdown

This is the fight every MMA fan has been clamoring for. Jon Jones, arguably the greatest fighter of all time, stepping up to face the scariest man in the heavyweight division, Francis Ngannou. Jones’ return to heavyweight has been long anticipated, and there’s no bigger opponent than Ngannou. Aspinall is what the fans are clamouring for right now, but if Ngannou was in the picture, there would be a unanimous demand for this fight.

Jones brings unmatched versatility, fight IQ, and experience. Ngannou brings raw power, improved technique, and a hunger to prove he’s still the baddest man on the planet after his last outing being finished by Anthony Joshua. This clash would be a test of whether Jones can handle the power of a true heavyweight and if Ngannou can deal with the technical prowess of an aged but still game Jon Jones.

Prediction: This fight could end in a blink of an eye for Francis or be a slow grinding wrestling lesson from Jon Jones. If Jones can avoid Ngannou’s early onslaught, his chances of winning increase dramatically. I see Jones using his reach, kicks, and wrestling to tire Ngannou and secure a late-round submission or decision.

Conor McGregor vs. Max Holloway 2: The Rematch

The first time these two warriors clashed was back in 2013, when McGregor secured a unanimous decision victory over a young Max Holloway. Fast forward to today, and both fighters have grown into absolute legends. Holloway, with his relentless pace and incredible volume striking, has become one of the best featherweights of all time. McGregor, the charismatic Irishman, remains one of the biggest draws in the sport, known for his knockout power and mind games.

Why is this fight a must-see? Simply put, both fighters have evolved tremendously since their first encounter. There is no one bigger in the sport than Conor McGregor. Max Holloway, on the other hand, commands the hearts of true MMA fans everywhere. His performance against Gaethje at UFC 300 will live to be one of the defining moments of what the sport is about a hundred years from now. Holloway’s striking has become a work of art, and his cardio is seemingly endless. McGregor, when motivated, can send any opponent to a canvas nap with his precision and timing. This fight would be a striking masterclass and a true test to see who has grown more in the crazy years of turbulence this sport has seen in the last ten years.

Prediction: Max Holloway. You’d have to torture me to make me pick against him right now. Blessed by whatever he wants in the 4th round.

There you have it, folks. My ultimate UFC dream fight card. Mike Perry vs. Darren Till, Amanda Nunes vs. Cris Cyborg 2, Brock Lesnar vs. Fedor Emelianenko, Jon Jones vs. Francis Ngannou, and Conor McGregor vs. Max Holloway 2. These matchups are a mix of unfinished business, legendary status, and pure fighting skill. It’s the kind of card that would not only sell out arenas but also create moments that fans would talk about until UFC 500.
